Plaza
de Mayo
It
is the place of the foundation of the city of Buenos Aires. It was
born from the union of two squares de la Victoria and del Fuerte,
when a building called Recova Vieja which separated them was demolished.
It has been the scenery of all the most important facts except the
Independence Declaration.

The
building with a neoclassic style has a profile that is not commonly
used in cathedrals because it does not have towers and it resembles
more to a Greek classic temple than a catholic church.

It´s
the place of the Executive Power in the Argentine Republic and Nacional
Historic Monument. In it you can find the President´s office.
This colossal building is placed in front of the historical Plaza
de Mayo. Its characteristic colour is pink and it´s considered
one of the most emblematic buildings of Buenos Aires.

It´s
a public building that was used by the viceroyal authorities. It
was the place of public, judicial and economic administration of
Spain until 1822. From 1608 to 1940 it has suffered different structural
changes.

It is one of the most modern neighbourhood
in the city. It is located very near the centric zone and you can
have a very nice sight of the river which makes this place one of
the most exclusive of the city.

You can enjoy a menu prepared by Martiniano Molina, the chef number
1 in Argentina. The show that is offered is called Tangorama. It
is performed by Mora Godoy. She´s recognized around the world
as one of the best tango dancers. Choreographer and creator of "Tanguera".

is placed in Avenida de Mayo and it is one of the most representative
cafés in this avenue and a legend for the city.

It is one of the oldest neighbourhood in the city of Buenos Aires.
At the beginning it was inhabited by the people who worked in the
port. You can visit old churches, museums, antique shops and a fair
that you can visit on Sundays.

Viejo Almacén
The famous tango singer Edmundo Rivero transformed it into "the
temple of tango" in 1969. The Spanish King and Queen have been
here. There are shows and dinners everyday with an excellent typical
argentine menu.

Manzana de las Luces
La Manzana de las Luces, has its name
because it has been the cradle of the intellectuality. It is placed
in the neighbourhood of Montserrat. Its history begins when the
Jesuits take possession of it and begin to build buildings, that
today are considered as the oldest of this place.
The
church of San Ignacio de Loyola, example of the jesuitic baroque
architecture, was finished in 1722 and it is the oldest of the
city of Buenos Aires. There are tunnels that can be visited in
a guided visit.

Evita
The museum was first oponed in 2002
and it is placed in a petit hotel. In its 13 rooms you can see the
history of Evita since her childhood, passing by her youth as an
actress, then her life together with Juan Perón, her fight
for the female civic rights her Foundation until her resignation
and death.
Cemetery
of Recoleta
The Cemetery of Recoleta, with its
refined architecture and sculptures. For its story and art it is
placed among one of the most important cemeteries of the world.
Eva Perón lies here among other famous people.
