Jewish agricultural settlements were established in the province of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos and Santa Fe. Many of the Jewish people became farmers, artisans shopkeepers. The Jewish community was established in 1862. 330,000 Jewish people live in Argentina. Most of them in Buenos Aires, 85%. It is the biggest community in Latin America and the 6th in the world.
