The Water Palace

The Water Palace dates from 1894 and occupies an entire city block. It was designed as a water pumping station. Carlos Nystronomer was the architect that designed this magnificent building. The French-style mansard roofs palace was covered in over 300,000 glazed and terra cotta tiles and 130,000 enameled bricks were imported from the well-known British ceramics maker, Royal Dulton from England and assembled here. It is one of the most beautiful building in Buenos Aires. You can visit it in a private tour with a local guide in Buenos Aires.
