I invite you to explore some of our news about the city of Buenos Aires.

Puerto Madero

Puerto Madero

This was the second harbor of Buenos Aires. it was built in 1889 by Eduardo Madero. Many docks were built here but in only 10 years it became useless because the ships were bigger in size and the harbor was too small. This place was abandoned and no one wanted to walk near it. 22 years ago, under the presidency of Menem it came to life again. We have the old part with the old docks which were redecorated inside, and the new part which is the most expensive and modern in the entire city. Very near you have the Ecologic Reserve. You can reach the river, it is only 2 km. You can enjoy silence and watch birds in a nice walk along various paths.
